Local Dance Academy entered online dance competition

During lock down dancers from Bronwynne’s Dancing Academy in Randhart, entered the on-line Solo Dance Sport  Performing Arts and Street dance fixtures and participated against students from all over Gauteng and received their Gauteng Colours.

The students where required to participate in a number of regional fixtures, before all qualifying for the Inter District fixtures. where they then qualified to enter the Inter Provincial Fixture to be held shortly.  Should they receive the required results they will receive their SA  provincial colors. This was a fantastic initiative from Solo Dance Sport SA, it gave the dancers something to work towards during lockdown and helped them stay motivated.

Bronwynne’s Dancing Academy (BDA) is a an affiliated member member of South African Body of Dance (SABOD) and Dance Academy of South Africa (DASA).  BDA also belong to Solo Dance Sport South Africa. They participate in the SABOD and DASA examinations each year and students are also prepared for various competitions. This year the studio participated in a number of on line competitions  and the students have qualified for the Gauteng Eistedfod and the Arnold Classic scheduled for 2021.
