THE Bahrain GP has been suspended after a horrendous crash involving Romain Grosjean on first lap.
Currently the action remains red-flagged but Grosjean has miraculously escaped with just minor burns despite a huge fireball upon impact with the barrier.
Well done to Alan van der Merwe (the South African race car driver who drives the medical car) and Dr Ian Roberts who got to that crash scene to help Roman Grosjean so quickly. The race will resume as soon as the barriers are mended.
