Election Results: 24 percent of votes counted, DA crosses 1 million vote threshold

As of 11:22 on Tuesday, 2 November, the Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) Results Operation Centre in Tshwane, Gauteng has received the results of 24 percent of the votes cast in the 2021 Local Government Elections (LGE). Here’s an overview of the leading parties, according to the IEC Municipal election results dashboard.
