7 Ideas for Father’s Day!

7 Ideas for Father’s Day, might be a little different this year due to the coronavirus outbreak — but that certainly doesn’t mean you can’t still have some quality time with Dad and plan some fun Father’s Day activities.

1)Have a Picnic in your garden

Pile Dad’s favourite mains, sides, treats, and beverages into a basket or cooler, grab a blanket, and head out to the nearest patch of grass for an alfresco affair.

2) Make a Cheesy Fondue

Want to cook him an extra-memorable meal for Father’s Day dinner? Throw together a creative fondue menu for something different. Dip appetizers and entrées in cheese fondue, and for dessert, bring out some melted chocolate! It’s an easy meal to throw together, regardless of your level of experience in the kitchen. And it’s fun for the whole family.

3) Go Bird-Watching!

You don’t have to be a nature junkie to enjoy bird-watching! Basically, all you have to do is hit the neighborhood with a set of binoculars, and you’re a bird watcher!

4) Host an At-Home Wine Tasting

Calling all wine-loving dads! Take some time to create “wine scorecards” and a restaurant-worthy cheese board, then splurge on 3 to 5 bottles of wine in a range of prices and prepare to take notes. You can also do this party remotely—buy Dad his supply and then everyone else can stock up on their own, and then have your tasting over a video call!

5) Go on a Hike Together

Escape to a nearby mountain, hill or lake and go for a serene, nature-filled walk—the perfect activity for an outdoorsy dad.

6) Surprise Him with Brunch

Start Father’s Day off right by treating him to his favourite breakfast meal, no matter how indulgent

7) Have a family game night.

This year, let Dad flaunt his competitive side with the best board games for the whole family, including favorite classics like Jenga, charades, and Monopoly. If Dad loves trivia and brain teasers, you can even host a family trivia night!
