SEVEN SUSPECTS ARRESTED IN KATLEHONG

On Monday, 12 August Katlehong Police arrested seven suspects for various offences. The arrest was the result of an ongoing routine stop and search operation which was conducted by Katlehong Crime Prevention.

Suspects were arrested, among others offences, for the following: malicious damage to property, assault with the intention to inflict bodily harm and common assault where Domestic violence was encountered, intimidation, child neglect and driving under the influence of alcohol.

Katlehong Station Commander Brigadier Sammy Thambo is highly impressed with the great work done by the police members and encouraged the community to report crime and to provide the police with information about criminal activities that are happening in their presence.

All the arrested suspects are expected to appear in Palm Ridge Court soon on to their different charges.
