Katlehong South SAPS held an Imbizo recently to talk about how to improve and promote partnership between the Police and the communities of Katlehong.

All four Sectors were represented, with Business, Church Ministries, Local CPF, Patrollers, Hostel dwellers, Councillors, MEC of Community Safety and the communities at large also present at the meeting.

“Maj Gen Leshabane was part of the event since the Imbizo was called District Imbizo, in order to listen to the challenges the Communities are facing when engaging with the Police,” said Captain Ndobe

“The communities were lucky since the Local Radio Station Kasie FM was covering every part of the event.” The community therefore heard what was being done in curbing crime in the area.

“Crime Desk was introduced where complaints with case numbers were taken down and outlined,” he concluded.
