Here’s how you can find out if your employer received UIF Funding
Since the national lockdown, South Africans are struggling financially, with many not being paid their full salaries or forced to take unpaid leave.
This loss of income due to the lockdown has negatively impacted families across the country.
The Covid-19 Temporary Employee/Employer Relief Scheme (TERS) has been set up by the government to give assistance by offering pay-outs to employees who have been affected.
Depending on the employee’s salaries, they are entitled to a minimum of R3,500 per month, with a maximum of R6,730.
So far the scheme has made payments to more than 100, 000 companies.

Applications for May have not yet been accepted by the UIF, but the list contains the names of the businesses who received payment.
