Hanekom Sues Zuma R500 000 for defamation

Derek Hanekom, ANC NEC member is allegedly suing former President Jacob Zuma R500 000 for defamation of Character.

Zuma accused the former tourism minister of being an apartheid spy.

According to Business Day, Hanekom has approached the court to have the allegation tested.

He says the claim has that the allegations has tainted his good name and they would continue to do so if unchallenged.

Zuma sent out a tweet, saying he wasn’t surprised by claims Hanekom worked with the EFF to oust him.

He branded him a known enemy agent.
