15 put behind bars in Katlehong

Katlehong North SAPS members jointly with other law enforcement agencies managed to arrest a total of fifteen (15) suspects over the weekend.  The arrest were effected through various operations carried out around the Katlehong police precinct.

Suspects were arrested for crimes ranging from shoplifting, drunk and driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of drugs, assault common and assault to cause grievous bodily harm.  All the arrested suspects will appear in Palmridge Magistrate Court.

Captain Mathobela on behalf of the Katlehoong North SAPS has issued out a warning to criminals, stating that the police will have zero tolerance approach this festive season in the fight against crime and ensuring the safety of South African Citizens.

“Remember detectives are keen to follow up your information.  Please give us more details if possible.  The world suffers a lot not because of violence of bad people but because of the silence of good people.,” said Captain Mathobela
